All Full-time staff are first aid and CPR AND SCARS trained, certified to teach gymnastics by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) and screened annually to ensure the leadership that is provided to our BGA membership is nothing but the Best!


Brian Le Roux – General Manager/ Head Coach

Brian has been coaching gymnastics since 1972. He is from Cape Town, South Africa. He was instrumental in developing a nation wide development gymnastics program in South Africa, and this gymnastics program was later accepted into the schools curriculum, loclas clubs and Community centers. He opened his own club in South Africa. The Club produced provincial, regional and national champions. Brian moved to the USA in 1995 and worked as the Head Boy's Coach in Connecticut. Brian and his family were the co owners of the Inflight Gymnastics Center in North Haven CT from 1999 to 2019. His top MAG Artistic Gymnastics athlete was recruited by Stanford University who won the NCAA First Division National Title in 2019. In addition to this, Brian has been a qualified judge in the MAG USAG JO program: and has been a national instructor for the USA Gymnastics University. He also worked at the International Gymnastics Camp for 17 seasons, where he was running the Coaches Education Programs. Brian attended the University of Western Cape where he persued a course in Sports administration and Organization. In addition he attended the University of Cape Town to persue a course in  Sport Science.

Anna Balada - A
ssistant Head Coach 

Anna has been coaching gymnastics since 1998, she is from Barcelona and fell in love with the sport when she started as a gymnast at 12 years old. She has always combined her studies with her gymnastics career, she has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Sports High Performance, both specialized in Women Artistic Gymnastics. Anna has coached gymnasts and teams winning Regional and National Spanish Championships for several years, and she prepared gymnasts from a young age to entering the Olympic Training Center in Barcelona, where she had the chance to coach as well. In 2013 Anna decided to broaden her gymnastics knowledge, and she travelled to International Gymnastics Camp (USA) for 3 summers, there she coached high level gymnasts and got promoted to supervisor and lead coach, while achieving the IGC Professional Coaching Diploma. 
In 2016 Anna moved to Bermuda to take over the role of Head Coach at Quality Gymnastics, she successfully grew the gym, and created a very competitive team that obtanied multiple podiums at national and international level.

 Anna demonstrates the attitude that she expects from her gymnasts, that hard work and consistency are the key ingredients to success.

Pilar Sanchez - Senior Coach

Pilar graduated from college with a Bachelor of Physical Education and has worked for more than
20 years as a Physical Education teacher and Rhythmic Gymnast coach in her home country Colombia. She is a member of the Academia FIG and is a Level III Rhythmic Gymnastics coach. She has specialized in Rhythmic Gymnastics, taking several courses in Columbia and Spain. Pilar oversaw the regional team whose gymnasts represented Colombia at the South American Championships, Pan-American Games and Central American Games.
